At no point are the family information (such as grandparents’ names, birthdates, and birthplaces, and genealogy research) disclosed outside of the genealogy research process between client and Tracing Family Origins.
After the full names (including maidens), birthdates, and birthplaces of all four immediate maternal and paternal grandparents are provided in Add Note at checkout, the family genealogy research conducted by Tracing Family Origins immediately begins after the research’s confirmation emails are sent, which notifies client that their family research information has been received. A shared link to the family tree, that will store the genealogy research, will be included in confirmation reply email for viewing the genealogy research’s trace and written email updates of the research findings will also be emailed to client as soon as they’re identified and available. After order confirmation email is sent, the family genealogy research is a meticulous research process consisting of researching your immediate maternal and paternal grandparents’ lineages by generation to generation with legal records.
RESEARCH PROCESS:
Both maternal and paternal grandparents are researched, to identify each grandparents’ ancestral origin, using legal records, such as federal census records, tribal land allotment records, tribal citizenship census records, vital records (birth/marriage/death), social security application indexes, land deeds, wills, plantation inventories (among others), and researching possible common relatives shared with American Indians from American Indian tribal family trees who shares family surname in the earlier ancestors’ birthplaces. The immediate grandparents’ generation are traced from vital records and census records to identify who their parents are, and that method is repeated for several more generations into their lineages to identify names of earlier generations’ parents, before researching the earlier generations on tribal census records or plantation records.
The Four Grandparents’ Genealogy Research identifies American Indian ancestors and people of color’s ancestral origin in American lineages — for families whose grandparents' ancestry are from/has ancestry through any U.S. state — using 16th-19th century census records, vital records, court cases, land transactions, land allotments, tribal citizenship records, court cases, and land transactions of American Indians and American ancestors. The Research identifies the origin of all People of Color in lineage. At any point that online roadblocks exists, copies of birth records, death records, and social security application indexes are ordered to continue research, as well as physical field research takes place at any states’ county courthouses, county vital record offices, and state archives centers if necessary.
STANDARD RESEARCH TIMEFRAME UPDATED WITH RESEARCH TEAM:
Four grandparents’ genealogy research is concluded in 4 weeks to identify each of all four immediate grandparents’ origin of descent in each of their family lineages. At the conclusion of the family research, the digital family research report document of the family’s traced generations and genealogy research’s findings is emailed to client.
Enslaved ancestor genealogy research can take additional 6 months to identify ancestors origin with enslavers’ will and bill of sales.
American Indian searches doesn't make any ancestors become American Indian, but identifies American Indian ancestors based on direct bloodline descent, pre-colonial land ties, their direct individual identification on historical legal records of their descent denoting tribal ancestry, or through common relation with other American Indian relatives, who shares grandparents from the same county or territory.
